Bedroom Talk

She turned around to face him, and asked casually, "How did you know you love me?"

He was pretending to be asleep but let out a little smile at the question.

"Come on. Tell me." She tugged the blanket bringing them both closer together. It was almost 8 o'clock on a Friday morning and they were still both tucked in bed.

He looked at her with his sleepy, and mesmerizing eyes and said, "I don't want to say it."

She frowned. "Why not?"

"Because it was just an ordinary moment when I realized it. And I don't want to sound cheesy."

"You know I like cheesy." She answered, giggling.

He rolled his eyes at her and let out a sigh. Who is he kidding? He knows he can't resist her lazy morning voice and those soft, tiny laughs were like music to his ears.

Finally, he gave in.

"Okay. It was when we were walking in the park and you suddenly stopped because you saw a little boy, playing with balloons, and getting chased by his mother. You were smiling so beautifully. I was looking at you and I couldn't stop staring. You were captivating. I could feel my heart racing and I took a deep breath. Somewhere, deep inside me, I  felt like I panicked."

Curiosity clouded her eyes, and she asked, "Panicked? Why?"

"I panicked because it suddenly hit me. I want you in my life, and I felt like I wouldn't know what to do if I lose you. I panicked because I knew in my heart, you are the one I'm willing to take care of and be with for the rest of my life."

Then, he leaned over, giving her a hard, passionate kiss on the lips. He can feel her smile when he did that. For a moment, the strong craving towards each other that they feel made them forget their responsibilities for the day.

The wind kept blowing through their window, pillows fell onto the floor, and their arms continued to wrap around each other.

Suddenly, everything around them didn't matter.
