Wow. It was just weeks ago that I got hit by the nostalgic bug because I started to crazily reminisce last year's birth month spent at my beloved Iloilo. I honestly feel a bit sad that I couldn't go home this year but I guess life had other plans.

My best friends had other plans too. Two days ago, I had work and when I had my break, I decided to go home. I coincidentally gave my friends the perfect timing to Facetime and surprise me. They all gathered together to celebrate my birthday for me!!! I got so happy and excited I instantly wished teleportation and stopping time was a thing. I miss them so much.

I don't have a lot of friends but the ones I have are really all I need. These are the ones that are left in Iloilo right now. I'm very thankful and grateful for them. We've all known each other since high school so I guess it's safe to say we've been through hell and back. They will always be my ride or die.

On a much lighter note, I had four days off from work and I decided to spend it in Vienna with my friend Iraine, who I met just last year. We did the Before Sunrise Tour (went to locations where the movie was filmed), went to Austria's largest library, the Schönbrunn Palace, walked a lot, drank (not) a lot, and even got wet with the rain on our last day. I was very happy I took that much needed trip and be with someone I'm very comfortable with. I hope we get to see each other again before the year ends!

Now, I'm still talking my sweet time to edit my Before Sunrise v/blog. Please bear with me. I hope you guys will still look forward for it.

P.S. Finished writing this blog post at 00:03 - I'M OFFICIALLY 30! Ugh lol
